STU48 Official Blog Translation

First Entry!

From today on I will update the STU48 official blog！

Everyone、Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu！！

The recruitment for the 1st Generation began in January 2017、and after a number of examinations、31 succesful candidates were chosen！！

Furthermore、Okada Nana（AKB48 Team 4）will serve as the Captain、and Sashihara Rino（HKT48 Team H）will serve as STU48 Theater Manager and Kennin member！

The 2 of them will work hard for STU48、AKB48、and HKT48。

The 31 members from the audition、

with Okada and Sashihara the number will be up to 33 girls、and with this STU48 will start！

The 1st Generation members of STU48 are currently getting singing and dancing lessons。

Besides basic dance pratice、they’re also using AKB48 Songs!

They’re working hard in their lessons with the dream of standing on stage！

Please keep looking forward to them ♪♪

And then there were big news for the members！！

As already announced、it was decided that the first STU48 song will be on the Theater Edition of AKB48’s 48th single「Negaigoto no Mochigusare」！！！

The announcement of the Senbatsu was streamed via the “SHOWROOM” service！

Yamamoto Manabu, STU48’s theater manager, made the presentation。

STU48’s first center is Takino Yumiko from Yamaguchi prefecture！

This time 16 members were selected。Please cheer them on！

The members individual SHOWROOM distribution has started since Monday, April 17th, too、 so please support them there as well ♪

The members were also excited to meet all their fans again who cheered them on during the audition！！！

Since there are members who’re delivering for the first time from the 17th, please visit various rooms！

STU48 members will participate in『AKB48 49th Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo』in Okinawa！
