Expected members of STU48 … Perfume、Sayashi Riho、Nakamoto Sisters’s “from Hiroshima” the key to the next generation of Idols？

The 1st Generation of 「STU48」（SETOUCHI48）, a sister group of AKB48 set in the 7 prefectures of Setouchi, was announced a few days ago。Among the successful applicants are 4 Girls from the Actor’s School Hiroshima who also trained the popular music unit 「Perfume」、Nakamoto Suzuka of the worldly active 「BABYMETAL」、and former Morning Musume member and “Ace” Sayashi Riho。As a next generation Idol a new star might be born within STU48…。

STU48 is a group scheduled to be active on a shipboard theater based at the 7 prefectures of Setouchi、Yamaguchi・Hiroshima・Okayama・Hyogo・Tokushima・Kagawa・Ehime。HKT48’s Sashihara Rino will be the theater manager, and AKB48’s Okada Nana their Captain。

Of the total number of entries、8061、from the 44 final Girls are 4 from Actor’s School Hiroshima。

So Hiroshima prefecture tends to produce “Ace”'s？

The same school produced Kashiyuka  (Kashino Yuka)、Nocchi (Omoto Ayano)、and A~chan (Nishiwaki Ayaka) of the electropop group 「Perfume」、Morning Musume’s 9th Generation member Sayashi Riho who graduated from the group in 2015、Nakamoto Suzuka of the group「BABYMETAL」who is active worldwide and toured with famous rock bands such as 「METALLICA」 and 「Red Hot Chili Peppers」、and Nogizaka46’s Nakamoto Himeka。

Stars will be born from STU48…

It was also decided that STU48’s first song will be a coupling song for AKB48’s 48th Single。

Details about the 4 Girls are not revealed yet、but we hope that the members will demonstrate their skills and will grown as core members of STU48、and that they’ll let flowers bloom as the next Generation’s Idol hope。
